Meeting Script

Introduction & Prayer (~5 minutes)

• Hello and welcome to this meeting for ARMOR Ministry, which enables people to grow in virtue to fulfill the universal call to holiness.

• Please help to minimize distractions by taking this time to silence your cell phone, and refrain from telling others who you see or what you hear in this meeting.

• Before we pray, let’s introduce ourselves and announce any prayer intentions. My name is _____, and I pray for _____. (Continue introductions for everyone.)

• We offer up these intentions as we pray the Hail Mary.

Reading & Discussion (~20 minutes)

• Now we'll begin the reading & discussion part of the meeting, and we'll read _____ (see recommended reading) with each person reading a paragraph before passing to the next person. If you prefer not to read, just say "pass" when it's your turn. We'll stop reading at _____ (section, page, or time).

• Who would like to start the reading?

• (After finishing the reading...) Let’s take some time now to discuss our thoughts on the reading, being brief and mindful of allowing time for others to share. Who would like to start the discussion?

Accountability (~30 minutes)

• As we begin the accountability part of the meeting, keep in mind that the objective is for us to learn from each other's experiences in practicing each of the virtues during the last week. Each of us will share our experiences with practicing the same virtue, and then we'll do the same with another virtue and continue until we've shared about all the virtues. 

• Using the Live Virtuously Today page as a guide, briefly summarize the fruits and struggles in striving to practice the virtue of _____.
