Pray Without Ceasing
The habit of praying without ceasing enables you to grow in virtue, which leads to true happiness. Since the Bible encourages us to "pray without ceasing" (1 Thessalonians 5:17), the goal of this habit is to pray as often as we can throughout every day starting with shorter prayers at structured times and growing to longer and more structured prayer time. The following prayers are examples of ways to pray without ceasing every day, and working with a spiritual director is recommended:
-
Morning Offering and nightly Examen
-
Angelus at 6am, 12pm, and 6pm
-
Rosary 4 sets of mysteries throughout the day
-
Liturgy of the Hours throughout the day
-
